Breakfast had a huge selection of tasty food, including local treats. I especially liked the thick, crisp scallion pancakes, which I rarely see in Taiwan now, where they're usually paper-thin and lack chew and flavor. The vegetable pancakes were thick, generously filled, and crisp outside; the stuffed pancakes had lots of red beans and a crunchy crust. The small taro was soft and practically melted in my mouth. Wuhan dry noodles have a long way to go, even after making it all the way here. The spacious double room had a large bathroom with both a shower and a tub. Even the slippers were arranged beautifully, and the rooms felt high standard. In the lobby, the grand style is represented by the goddess Athena, giving it a noble, elegant, extraordinary feel. On the first floor, besides reception, there are Chinese and Western restaurants, a coffee shop, boutiques, and specialty shops. The Bian embroidery on display was stunning. There's also a billiards room, gym, pool, spa, conference center, and karaoke room. Some facilities are free for guests, while karaoke costs extra. At the impressive "Marco Polo" buffet restaurant downstairs, the coffee shop serves only black coffee, at 38 yuan a cup. It came with two pieces of mung bean cake and three small cookies, a thoughtful touch.

When I visit Kaifeng again, I'd like to stay here. I checked in to the Kaifeng Zhongzhou Huayue Hotel on December 11, 2019, and appreciated the spacious room, clean bathroom, strong heating, round-the-clock hot water, and generous breakfast. Manager Shang Jinxin learned that the dry climate had given me stomatitis and brought over a box of grapefruit tea his wife had made for me to brew. That customer-first care really stood out.

Ms. Ma Congcong at the front desk made us feel welcome. She thoughtfully told us about the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden package and gave our family breakfast at no charge. My son and daughter loved the spacious, comfortable suite. 😍 Wonderful!

I felt great after showering in the bathroom's hot spring bath. The room itself was spacious and elegant, and the service was good.
