We stopped here for one night on the way to Urumqi. The entrance smelled nice and felt clean and spacious, without banners or stalls cluttering it up. Check-in was quick and easy, and the reception staff were courteous and polite. The room was the best we had during our Northern Xinjiang trip: bright, spacious, spotless, and fresh-smelling, with the basic things we needed, including a kettle, robe, and very clean towels. It really was non-smoking, with no cigarette smell. The hotel is a little farther from the main streets and places to eat, but that also made it much quieter. We slept wonderfully.

The quiet surroundings made for a pleasant place to take a morning walk, and the breakfast was the best we've had so far on our 15 day trip. Staff were very friendly and eager to help. The facilities all worked well, including the air conditioning, and the toilets were clean. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed. Wanda has kept up its high standards here. Highly recommend it.
