The male receptionist in the lobby was neither helpful nor friendly, and the rooms weren’t worth what we paid. We stayed two nights. Our standard double was so cramped that putting a cabin size suitcase on the floor left no room to stand, and the bathroom was tiny too. We upgraded to a deluxe room, which had a little more space, but it smelled awful. I’d avoid this hotel.

Yau Ma Tei Station’s Exit C is less than a minute away, and there are plenty of places nearby for breakfast or a late supper. For Hong Kong, the rate seems reasonable for a room of this size, and I’ve had no complaints so far. I’d suggest booking the Premier executive Twin bed room. It comes with two double beds, so a family of four can sleep comfortably. The room is around 23-24m2.

We’d stayed at other hotels in HK before, but I’d come back here. The room was clean and quiet despite facing the road, and the location made getting around easy, with the MTR, buses, the airport bus, and lots of food nearby.

I booked and stayed in the Twin Superior Room at Casa Deluxe. This is a review of Casa Deluxe, not Casa Hotel next door. Yau Ma Tei MTR is right beside it, with Exit C nearby, and Mc Donald's is diagonally across the road. Staff responded quickly to a few issues I raised. The rooms seemed smaller than the website photos, but by HK hotel standards they were acceptable and better than some places on Nathan road, including Nathan Hotel and Shamrock hotel. Still, it doesn’t feel upmarket, and the entrance and lobby could be better. I’d give it 3 points; if you’re mostly out during the day and just need a place to sleep, this room type could work. There’s very little room for luggage, and the wardrobe won’t fit a full size suitcase. They provide a kettle but no coffee or tea sachets, which is unusual compared with other hotels where those are included in the room tariff. There’s no soap at the wash basin, and the bathroom mirror doesn’t give you a full view. The Twin Superior Room only has two single beds, so newly married couples should know they can’t get a double bed here. It’s a bit far from the main Tsim Sha Tsui market to walk the 1.7kms, so you’ll need the MTR each time. Jordan is just one station away.

The bathrooms are tiny, though that seems normal for HongKong. The hotel itself is small and nice, close to the skytrain and 7-11, and there’s a kettle in the room for hot water. I had a nice stay, 8/10.
