I booked this at the last minute for my boyfriend, who was in Hong Kong after our plans suddenly changed, so I wasn't expecting much. But he could tell right away that the place was very dirty. The room had a foul smell, and he said the washroom smelled better than the room. He didn't complain, and we knew the Agoda booking couldn't be refunded. He checked out immediately and only spoke to a staff member, who denied there was an odor. We booked another nearby hotel straight away, choosing to lose the money and pay more. We'll be much more careful about staying in these informally operated 'hotels' made from apartments split into cubicle units.

Small but clean, and in a central spot for a low price. It's a good fit for a traveller on a budget. If you'd rather have a roomy bathroom and more convenience, you'd be better off spending more.

We arrived to find a tiny box of a room, with no room for our feet or clothes and no toilet door. I'd booked the one in the photo, with a window and two beds, and messaged them to confirm after booking. When I asked why it wasn't like the photo, they said, "it's just a photo." A few days later I saw they had that photo and lots of others available for free!!! Not worth it as a place to live in HK. I've had cheaper and much better places before.
