Dash Living on Argyle

My parents made the trip to view a flat for me, but when they arrived there was no one from Dash Living there, just a security guard who knew nothing about the appointment. The representative told us over WhatsApp that they had no record of it. It was a waste of their time and completely unprofessional. I also got the impression their tone depended on who they thought they were dealing with. They responded quickly when I used a foreign number, then changed their tone after realizing we were local Hong Kong residents and said there were no availabilities. It felt like they preferred expats and dismissed locals, perhaps thinking expats wouldn't notice or mind the poor service. We won't book, and I'd be cautious about doing so.

I lived in this serviced apartment in Mong Kok for six months and really enjoyed the privacy. Many serviced apartments now have shared kitchens and toilets, but here I had my own fully equipped kitchen and could cook in my room. Housekeeping kept the place clean and fresh. I had to return to the Philippines, but I'll book here again when I'm back.

I stayed for a month starting in October, and the natural light was one of the best things about the room. The morning sun coming in was lovely. The space was clean, modern, and well kept, with thoughtful furnishings that made it feel comfortable. Management was willing to deal with concerns and seemed committed to improving the guest experience. The location also made it easy to get to amenities and key attractions, including places to eat, shop, and explore. My time at Dash Living Argrle was memorable, and I'd be happy to return.

Mong Kok has lots of restaurants and the location is convenient, but Dash isn't somewhere I'd recommend. The price is high, the cancellation rules are very inflexible, and they don't take special situations into account. Housekeeping comes only once a week, there's no facial tissue, and the shower drains slowly, as if it's clogged. The building has only two washing machines and two dryers, and I couldn't connect to the common-area wifi, which may be why nobody uses that space. Rain makes a lot of noise against the building cladding, disturbing sleep, and I noticed minor leaks after heavy rain. One of the two lifts was out of service for a month after a typhoon. The entrance door is awkward and easy to bump into.
