Largos Hotel

The location is excellent, with convenience stores, a supermarket, and places to eat all around. The first-floor cafe is nice too, and breakfast is HK$50 per person. I stayed five nights and found the price reasonable. My room was small, but quiet and clean, with no view. There was no fridge, and it was missing small towels and a box of tissues. Staff don't make up the room unless you ask, which suited me since I could sleep late undisturbed. But they did forget to clean it once even after I requested it. I'd come back.

The location is great for the airport and close to both bus and train stations, with street food and shops nearby. The rooms themselves are tiny and very basic, with little space. The shower leaks, ventilation is poor, and mould builds up where cleaners hardly clean. I also found a big ball of dust on the top shelf when I moved in. There is air conditioning but no heater, and apparently many other rooms have the same issue.

The location is a strong point: right on Nathan Rd and close to Jordan MTR station. But the room was tiny, with barely any room for luggage, and the beds were rock hard. The toilet and shower were tiny too, and there was no fridge or much in the way of amenities. The receptionist wasn't very helpful and said there were no bars around, though we later found several just a few minutes' walk away. You get what you pay for.

We were there in early December. The female staff were very friendly, but the man at the front desk who wore glasses came across as rude, with an unfriendly tone and attitude.
