The shared bathrooms weren't very clean, and the six-person rooms felt cramped for what they cost compared with nearby hostels. The conversation with the owners was uncomfortable too. I tried to explain our situation and felt brushed off instead of heard. Our first hostel unexpectedly canceled, so we ended up paying 700 HKD a night here instead of the original 500 HKD. I understand prices can change, but we had agreed with the owner that leaving our bags would be free, then were asked for 200 HKD. Had we known, we could have left them at hotels in Macau for 40 MOP. I wouldn't recommend staying here. There are better-value places in Hong Kong with a more welcoming feel.

The rooms for six are small, and the place felt unsanitary, with only shared bathrooms. It was expensive compared with other stays nearby, so I can't recommend it. Our first hostel canceled our reservation without telling us, leaving us to take this place at 700 HKD a night even though the original price was 500 HKD. The owners were rude and seemed interested only in money. We are Filipinos, and trusted them because the owner is Indian and his wife is Filipina. We had already agreed with his wife that we could leave our bags without paying extra, but they later wanted 200 HKD for them. If there had been a fee, we could have left them at hotels in Macau for just 40 MOP.

The place itself is simple, clean, convenient, and felt very safe. What I'll remember most is how kind the owners were. I arrived in Hong Kong at 1 in the morning after an unfortunate incident, exhausted and lost, with two big suitcases and nowhere to go. They helped me with everything and found me a room right away at a very reasonable price. They really saved the day, and I'll always be grateful to them.
