I barely slept because the elevator noise came through the wall by the main bedroom’s headboard, stopping only briefly between 3am and 5am. The bedroom also smelled of stale urine, and the hallway carpets were badly stained. An air purifier was running hard. Other comments mention possible sewerage leaks, though I can’t confirm that. The location is decent, but it didn’t make up for the noise and smell. We were in room 1906, which I’d definitely avoid, and I can’t say whether other rooms are better. There were no kitchen utensils, cutlery or plates despite the listing saying they’d be there. Some elevator buttons didn’t work either. I didn’t see anyone at reception, so I had no idea how to raise these problems.

The location near Nathan Road was okay, and the rooms were okay for a serviced apartment connected to Holiday Inn Express. But the microwave was dirty, with dried curry on it, and the staff hadn’t cleaned it. On our last day the fire alarm went off, so we walked down from the 19th floor to the ground floor. It turned out to be a false alarm, but nobody from the service desk called to let us know.

The bed was wide and comfortable, and the shower was good. Our room was quiet, clean and well equipped. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful, and whenever an issue came up, they tried to sort it out straight away. For this kind of studio or apartment, I’d say the value for money is probably the best. Highly recommended.

I stayed five nights and got an upgrade at check-in. The room was big, clean and quiet. The location is great, though it’s a bit pricey. Still, it was worth it overall.
