The room stayed cold even after I turned the system all the way off, and there was no heating option. In January, I needed heat at night. The shower was strong, and the bed was on the hard side. With helpful staff and a good location, it's otherwise a fine three-star hotel.

The hotel has a lovely, inspiring history, and the location is extremely strategic. The room was very comfy too. When I woke up at midnight, though, I saw a head floating in front of me. Apart from that, it was alright.

I'm extremely disappointed by how this hotel handled my security deposit. They charged it and said it would be refunded within 24 hours of checkout, but that never happened. After I got in touch, they said it would take two weeks. Those two weeks are over, and I still haven't received the money. This feels unacceptable to me, and like they're deliberately holding on to the deposit. As a foreign guest, I can't help wondering if they're taking advantage of the fact that I'm not from this country and have a harder time pursuing it. I'd urge future guests to be very cautious about paying a deposit here, since the promised refunds don't seem to be honored.

The location and service are good, and the room is clean. The receptionist was friendly at first. But if you have a lot of people or large suitcases, you won't all fit. You can book here if your group is small and you don't have big luggage.

A really nice place, clean and comfortable, and easy to find. We could leave our bags there and walk around before check-in. Lots of Thai guests were staying there.
