The room was comfortable enough for two and adequately clean, with sufficient amenities. Bring your own toothbrush. Staff were efficient and friendly, and could speak English. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Mongkok station. I had a really nice stay and would come back.

The room had a wardrobe, electronic safe, hairdryer, kettle, mini fridge and TV, along with a free bottle of water. Shampoo and conditioner, shower gel and towels were provided, but there was no complimentary disposable toothbrush or comb, so bring your own or ask specially. The hotel looks quite modern and is conveniently near Mongkok MTR station, street shopping and the food district. Nice stay so far.

We stayed in Room 702, which was just the right size for a couple and had a cozy, homey feel. The bathroom was clean and well kept, and staff cleaned the room daily and left fresh bottled water each time. There’s no bidet, which is common in Hong Kong. We brought our own portable one, and I’d recommend that if you’re used to having one. The staff were kind, helpful and quick to respond. The hotel is right in the heart of MongKok, so it’s lively and convenient. Travel tip: use MTR Exit D3 instead of E2, which we only figured out later. We’ll definitely be back. 10/10 stay!

The staff were helpful and friendly, and made me feel welcome. Some feedback calls them cold or rude, but that’s just the Hongkie way of communicating. The room was clean, functional and spacious, and the price was very competitive. Beacon is right in the heart of Mongkok, within walking distance of Yau Mah Di and public transport. There’s a huge range of food nearby, from local and international options to Michelin bid restaurants. I made two bookings for four nights because my plans changed, and they proactively put both bookings in the same room. Beacon exceeded my expectations, and I’ll certainly return if I travel to HK again.
