If you like hot springs and are in Kunming, this place is worth a visit. It sits in a pleasant, tree-filled setting where you can relax and look up at the treetops. They offer lots of different "herbal treatments," including one with rose petals, and there's a pool of doctor fish [Garra rufa] that nibble at your feet. There are no private changing rooms, and the towels provided are small.

I had a really nice outdoor hot spring experience here. It's lovely dipping in the hot water while your upper body is out in the cool air. A must try if you're staying at the Forest Hotel.

A nice spot to visit for a day or stay a couple of days with family or friends. You can unwind in the hot springs in the woods, while kids play in the water park by the center entrance.

I used to have no interest in hot springs, but this place changed that. The forest setting on a hillside lets each group pick a pool and have its own little bathing spot. There are themed pools too, including coffee for two, teapot, Donglaishun hot pot, rose, strawberry, milk, Chinese herbal tea, and one where small goldfish nibble at your skin. Getting here from Kunming takes about 45 minutes and costs around 65 RMB, which feels like good value. The springs are in Anning Hot Spring Town and are known for their quality. It was a surprisingly relaxing, eye-opening visit, and now I love this kind of hot spring experience. I highly recommend the trip.
