The packed lunch they gave me was incredibly tasty, easily the most memorable part. The hotel itself was more pleasant than the other transit hotel I used in the same neighborhood seven years ago, which had smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, though this place was very dusty and set off my nose radar. China Eastern Airlines postponed my flight twice, so I missed my connection; they changed my ticket and provided a shuttle to this hotel. The staff were friendly, but they couldn’t speak English.
