Jun'ao Hotel (Kunming Old Street Nanping Walking Street Branch)

Junao Hotel is nowhere near the pedestrian zone its name suggests. The address details were confusing and the directions so poor that we had to ask several times, and the sign outside showed a completely different hotel name. This was by far the dirtiest and most run-down place on our whole trip through China. The room looked nothing like the pictures. Filthy carpet covered the hotel, and there were long hairs all over the bathroom. The bed was hard as concrete, leaving all my bones aching the next day. The windows barely shut, so street noise came in all night. Wi-Fi hardly worked in the rooms, and the staff weren't very friendly either. We turned right around at the breakfast room. I strongly advise against booking a room here.
