Breakfast had plenty of tasty choices, with dietary and allergen information clearly marked, which made picking food safe and easy. Our room was comfortable, thoughtfully laid out, and had convenient facilities that made the stay relaxing. The bellhop handled our bags smoothly and greeted us warmly. Nancy Wang at breakfast was attentive and seemed to know what we needed before we asked. We had a wonderful stay that went beyond expectations, and would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, considerate service, and warm hospitality.

The breakfast crew kept the tables tidy and served a scrumptious spread, with a morning greeting from the chef at each station. Cathy Li and Lucky gave us useful sightseeing options on our second day, and Suri Su kept checking in at the lobby to see if we needed anything. She’s a gem, and deserves five stars for all that effort. When we arrived on 16/5/26, Cathy Li and Suri Su greeted us warmly at the front desk, took time to understand our room preferences, and offered dinner suggestions. The porter helped with our luggage before we headed to the elevator, and the bell boy outside unloaded our bags from the car. Great job, SOFITEL KUNMING, and thanks to the whole team for hosting us. Looking forward to coming back.

Our group of 12 was happy with both the stay and the service at Sofitel Kunming. Guest Relations Manager Jessica Xue did a great job arranging everything for a smooth check-in and check-out, and she handled our requests promptly. The team in Millisime lounge welcomed all our requests and took especially good care of the elders in our group. Many thanks to everyone at Sofitel Kunming, words don’t seem enough to praise the team.

Raven at the front desk handled our check-in excellently. She was very helpful and spoke good English, so we had no trouble checking in. The room was great and clean, too.

The pool was particularly well managed, and the facilities overall were clean and looked after. The arrival route to the lobby felt awkward, though, and with no staff there to guide or help, we found it confusing. We also couldn’t get any help from staff getting into a taxi after check-out. That surprised me, since in other situations the staff were professional and very proactive about offering assistance.
