The room was comfortable enough, but the hotel decides when the AC runs, using Kunming's cooler temperatures. Reception didn't seem very competent, and since they can't speak English, things get a bit difficult. Still, it's in a good area, about 200m from the subway entrance, with a few food places nearby. The hotel's breakfast was okay, too, nothing great or bad from a foreigner's point of view.
