I was there in September, mostly for work, and the weather was pleasantly cool at 18 to 20 degrees Celsius. I got to see the golf courses and some new landed properties being built. The resort buffet breakfast was lovely, and I also liked the wild mushroom and chicken hotpot for dinner. Everything felt clean and well kept, with fresh air and a peaceful atmosphere. From the golf courses, the views of the blue sky, lakes, and nearby mountains were stunning.

It's been around for decades, but still keeps some of its quality and charm. The Lake course is much tighter than the mountain course. The caddies are kind, professional, and hardworking. The cafe food was tasty, proper Malaysian-style food.

The golf courses are beautiful. I didn't stay in the rooms, though I imagine they're as good as the course.

We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the F&B restaurants, and the food was delicious. The Lakes Course was also well maintained, with tough roughs and fast 11.5 greens. Jasmine at Ritual Spa gave me the best body massage, absolutely five stars. And the 19th Hole Live House karaoke bar deserves a mention too. We sang our hearts out each night, and the two live singers were fantastic. They encouraged everyone to sing along, making for such a fun evening after a challenging round of golf.
