The nearby Persimmon Blossom Bridge has lovely scenery, and East and West Temples, the Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archway, and Zhengyifang Super City Center are all easy to reach on foot. I first stayed in the VIP Building in 2000, where I was treated like a top official. Someone would ask what I wanted to eat each day, and meals came in a dedicated room. That building is now abandoned. The main building, which I thought was the best part, is the newer one built jointly with another company. Service now is far from how it used to be.
