The front office ran smoothly from arrival through departure, and every interaction felt warm and purposeful. The staff handled things accurately and quickly, while also paying attention to individual needs and resolving issues sincerely. Even when it was busy, the front desk, concierge, and guest services worked well together. Ms. Alison clearly has a positive effect on the team's morale and coordination. That consistency seems to come from her leadership, good training, and an environment where staff take responsibility for the guest experience. Ms. Alison also kept a close eye on operations with a calm, confident manner. Standards stayed high, and she treated both guests and staff respectfully. She is an impressive manager.

We loved the paved walking paths along the lake, which stretch for miles past lotus and water lily ponds. Our room had a balcony and a beautiful view of Yangcheng Lake. The hotel also has a great location, and the beekeeping experience was a highlight. Food was amazing, from dinner, where they happily accommodated my dietary preferences, to the afternoon tea. Fairmont's service really stands out. The one unpleasant thing was a strange smell throughout the hotel, especially in the rooms.

The resort is huge, and the room was spacious and good. The bellboy wasn't very attentive, and the English-speaking staff could use improvement.

We had a great family weekend here. It's right by Yangcheng Lake, and many of the lake-view rooms are fantastic. Charging an electric car at the car park was easy. Breakfast was average, though I really liked the local noodle dish called “Aozao”.

The buffet had a good variety and the food was good quality, and the building and facilities were pleasant. But our room wasn't very clean, and they couldn't get a glass of milk for our baby. The lobby toilets had no soap or towels. There were lots of activities, though they were all quite expensive.
