Beijing CSN Pearl Hotel

The shuttle service was great and on time, and the room itself was clean and huge. There's a minimart right in front of the hotel. The male front desk staff member didn't seem friendly and never smiled. I also only had two tea bags and two bottles of water in the room, with no coffee.

We arrived after 1 a.m. for a late check-in, and our room hadn't been cancelled. There was an airport transfer without a booking every 15 and 45 minutes to csn pearl hotel. My husband had booked twin beds by mistake through trip.com, but xiao ren, the tall guy at reception, willingly upgraded us to one big bed. The stay was really nice. They even let us check out as late as 2 p.m. since our flight was after 1 a.m., so I guess it depends on your flight time. There's a 24-hour convenience shop just outside. To get to the train, you can take the shuttle bus back to the airport, then go from there into the city.

I visited twice in February 2025 and booked through the China southern flight app. The hotel bus runs every 30 minutes, at :15 and :45, from the local bus stops by exits 15 and 16 at the far left on the first floor. The pool and workout area in the basement were being worked on in February 2025, so they weren't available. One small issue is a 1-2 cm gap under the room door. If your room is near the elevator, cigarette smell may drift in. Wi-Fi also requires a local phone number, so keep that in mind. You can walk from the airport too. From the second floor, leave by exits 13 or 14 and follow the signs for Mumian Beijing airport. Before going into the Mumian hotel, take the escalator down two levels and exit under Mimian Beijing airport. It may not look like an exit, but it is. Turn left, cross at the pedestrian crossing, then turn left into the park. Near the park exit, you should see the China Southern building complex. The hotel is in the building at the far end of the row, on the left. Great hotel, recommended.

The room and shower were clean, and the room has large windows that let in plenty of light. It felt quite large, maybe too large, and only had the basics: a water boiler and an empty fridge. Breakfast has a lot of variety, though most of it suits Chinese tastes. The bed was kind of hard.
