The many teddy bears around the building give this hostel a quirky feel. It’s very clean, the rooms are spotless, and a tasty Chinese breakfast is included. The owners are kind and speak English well. It’s also very close to the start of the trails leading to Mount Emei. I strongly recommend it to hikers. Don’t miss it!

What stayed with me most was the easygoing feel of the place. I first visited in 2012, when Andy, the manager, gave me a ride on his motorbike so I could bathe in a nearby river. He was kind and humble, and always ready to help. I returned in 2018 because I loved the hotel and the mountain, and it still had the same atmosphere. It’s well located for exploring Mount Emei, the food is great and affordable, and there are lots of free extras, including billiards, walking sticks, board games, luggage storage, and hiking maps. Highly recommend it.
