The place was nice, and I had a great time at emeishan grand hotel with two friends. What made it so much better were two lovely staff members who went way beyond what was needed to help us: Huang Xiaoyan，Xu Xiaomei. Huang Xiaoyan and Xu Xiaomei, you're both the best. The location made getting around really easy. The bus stop is right outside on the scenic road at the foot of the mountain, and the ride from the high-speed rail station takes about ten minutes and costs one yuan. That same bus goes to Fuhu Temple and Baoguo Temple. Across the road there are plenty of snack places, restaurants, supermarkets, souvenir shops, and banks. The Baoguo Temple Tourist Center is diagonally across to the left, with tickets for the minibuses, mountain entry, and cable car. Breakfast had a lot to choose from, though I headed up the mountain early and didn't get to enjoy it properly.
