The people were very sweet and helpful, and my room was comfortable and quite big. The hotel is beautifully built around a Tibetan theme, with a gorgeous reception lobby. I stayed one night and was very comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again if I come back. The one thing I didn’t like was breakfast. I had just started eating when they began clearing it away, even though breakfast was supposed to end at 10. They wrapped up at 9:47.

The room was good and the service was great. I’m disappointed, though. coolmathgames told me my brother had gone on a quest to find a door, and that if something bad happened... I haven’t seen him since I was four because he ran away. I went to the front desk, but there was no message.

The room was spacious, beautiful, and very clean, and the bathroom had plenty of amenities. The bathrobe was especially soft. The hotel is central in Shigatse, though it’s very large and a bit sprawling. Breakfast disappointed me. It seemed suited mainly to Asian tastes, with not even a croissant or sandwich for Europeans. Still, I had a good experience overall.

It’s right in the city center and very close to Jokhang Temple, so the location is superb. The hotel has a strong Tibetan style.
