The onsite restaurant and coffee shop were both excellent, and the service was great. The hotel was comfortable, and everything else was wonderful, though breakfast wasn’t great.

The oxygen machine in my room was a lifesaver on my first evening. Staff were really friendly and tried to accommodate me in every way, and they even gave my little daughter a plushie yak. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with local, ASEAN, and Western food. The two Tibetan restaurants were amazing, better than all the others I tried on my trip. My travel agent said it was the best in Tibet, and that may be true. I’m not an easy customer, but I’d happily recommend it to everyone. Thank you very much!

It may look a little old, but the facilities and overall condition are good. The service is excellent, and they can easily arrange a free shuttle car to nearby attractions. Each room has an oxygen respirator, which not every hotel in Lasha provides. I’d recommend it, and I think it’s worth the money.

The English hotel name might confuse people who don’t speak Mandarin. Its pinyin should be XueLong Zhuangyuan (Snow Dragon Manor). It’s a nice four-storey Tibetan-style hotel, spread over a large area next to Lhasa River, with Tibetan art decor throughout. There are shops close by, just around the corner.
