Patrick was especially hospitable and helpful, and the rest of the staff were friendly too. The hotel is in a handy spot for first-time visitors, making it easier to explore Lijiang and nearby ancient towns. The rooms and amenities are beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Being next to Intercontinental was a plus since we could use the gym and pool.

We had a very pleasant stay, thanks in particular to the warm and attentive staff. Lison deserves a special mention for helping with our luggage at both check-in and check-out. The room design has a clear horse theme, and it feels like every item was chosen to fit the look and make the stay more enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautiful and sits within Lijiang Ancient Town. The rooms are stunning, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended.

The hotel is right by Lijiang Old Town. Turn right and you’re straight among the shops, restaurants, and bar street. There are lots of places to eat nearby, plus a good massage place opposite the Old Town’s main entrance. Inside, it’s spacious and beautifully decorated, with nice amenities. The staff were friendly and made check-in feel easy. They had a buggy to take me and my luggage to my room, and offered to add me on Business WeChat so I could ask for help if I got lost while exploring.

The hotel combines the look of an old Chinese town with a rustic Western feel. It’s inside the ancient town, and my room was very clean. The service was great.

Breakfast was a treat, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. The rooms have all the facilities you need, and everything is nicely styled. You can also use the F&B at Intercontinental nextdoor. Thank you Indigo for making our stay so memorable. Nowhere better than Indigo!
