The owner was so kind and helpful, always making sure we had what we needed. She speaks excellent English, so it was easy to communicate. The place has a lovely traditional feel, and it's cozy and charming. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone after a warm welcome.

What made Jun Bo Xuan feel like home was how warm and helpful the team was. They even went out of their way to help us with bookings. My family and I all agreed the hotel was excellent, very clean, and clearly well maintained and managed. We stayed for three nights while visiting Lijiang on a 10day holiday around Yunnan, which also took us to Kunming. Jun Bo Xuan is in a quieter part of the ancient LiJiang Old Town, with beautiful scenery. It was a therapeutic break from a hectic lifestyle. I'd highly recommend it, and we'll go back again.

After a full day exploring, coming back to the peaceful courtyard felt like returning to a little safe haven. The rooms are cosy, surrounded by lush greenery, and in the morning you can hear water gently flowing in the pond. My family and I would happily return the next time we're in Yun Nan. The boutique hotel is beautiful and sits within the ancient city of Li Jiang. Step onto the cobblestones and it feels like walking into an ancient Chinese drama, a lovely escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Amy, our host, patiently answered our questions and helped us along the way.

Tracy, the hostess, speaks excellent English, and she and her staff made us feel very welcome. We were upgraded to a suite and honestly felt as if we were in a 5 star hotel. There was a heater, which seems rare in this part of the world, and parts of the bathroom even appeared to have underfloor heating. Our room was serviced every day, something you generally only get in a hotel. It's a wonderful guesthouse right in the heart of Lijiang Old Town.
