I spent two days in this small town, one of the three famous ancient towns in Liịiang, China. It's beautiful and peaceful. I'd love to come back someday!
Most of the old architecture is still here, and it's beautiful, even though the place has become very touristy. It's also a popular spot for pre-wedding photo shoots.
A fantastic place to stay. I'd recommend spending a couple of days here and exploring.
The friendly alpaca at the tea shop was the one thing I really liked. Otherwise, I didn't find anything special here that would draw people in, and the villages are starting to feel repetitive. The town keeps spreading, with more shops and villas being built for wealthy holidaymakers. It seems to me there's more supply than demand. The old town farther north, toward Jade Village, may be a better place to visit.
Keep exploring
