We could find plenty of food nearby, and the many convenience stores made it easy to buy fresh, inexpensive fruit. The guesthouse is close to the North Gate entrance of Dayan Ancient Town in Lijiang. There’s no elevator, but the staff were very helpful with our luggage. Our room was small and the soundproofing a little poor. Still, with breakfast included, it was quite economical. We had to leave early to go up Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and they packed breakfast for us to eat in the car, which was very good service. There’s no parking, so when arriving, we had to be quick and careful getting out of the car and handling luggage.
