The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and even treated us to a tea ceremony. Breakfast was simple Chinese food, but delicious and filling. Coffee is made with powder, Nescafé and milk powder with sugar. Just a few steps from the old town entrance, though, there's a bread shop with excellent coffee options and things like cinnamon rolls, flans, and garlic bread. A washing machine is available, but there's no dryer. This is a very nice, small heritage hotel in the old town, almost at the highest point. You can only access the old town itself by stairs, but the hotel is easy to reach by car using the road on the other side of Lion Hill. The Amap or Didi address is Xiheyuan Xiheyuan Zhonggu Meixue VILLA Guanjingmei Su (Lijiang Ancient Town Branch). Our room was small, quiet, and charming, with comfortable beds. About a third of the floor and the bathroom had underfloor heating, which kept it nice and warm.
