The location is great, and the breakfast is excellent. During my three months traveling around China, Hyatt place in Peoples Square was one of the nicest hotels I stayed at, with staff who were especially accommodating. The busy streets can get a little noisy, so I’d ask for a room at the back.

There’s a lively night market right outside, and the city view rooms look out over People's Square. The service is good, and while the rooms are small, the price is very cheap. It’s a very new hotel, opened less than six months ago.
