Breakfast is served on the second floor, and the hotel has two elevators. It’s quite new and near the Lao Jun Mountain scenic area. There weren’t any bellhops at first, but later someone came to help us with our luggage. A nice place overall.

Even with the temperature close to freezing, the front desk offered us hot tea as soon as we arrived. Ms. Wu Mengya and Ms. Li Xiaoli were particularly kind, bringing our bags up and walking us through the room facilities and how to adjust the temperature. They even gave us pears after dinner at no charge. Luanchuan Smart Choice Hotel felt welcoming and trustworthy. We stayed November 27-28, 2019.
