The location is the one drawback, since it’s not central. It’s about 15 minutes by taxi, or you can take a short walk to the metro. Still, I’d happily stay again. The welcome and service were really good, and the rooms felt modern and were very clean. Breakfast had a nice range of choices, too. They also provide a free shuttle to the high speed rail station if you book a day ahead. Definitely recommend it.

David Ding was especially helpful, professional, attentive, and reliable when arranging the complimentary airport shuttle. The housekeeping team also kept each of our rooms comfortable and very carefully cleaned: 9020, 9021, 1001, 1016, and 1020. Thanks to David and everyone on the hotel staff. The service throughout was excellent, and I had a very pleasant stay.

The breakfast was fine, though I wouldn’t call it amazing, and the price for such a lovely hotel was very reasonable. What made the trip feel special right away was being picked up from the station in a Porsche. The welcome and care from the staff were fantastic, and Hermione and Mina were a great help. The whole place was sparkling and full of advanced technology. It felt more like a regular Hilton than a Hilton Garden Inn, and it’s one of the best Hiltons I’ve stayed in. I only booked one night and wish I’d stayed another two or three. There’s plenty to do in Luoyang beyond Longmen grottoes.
