Melissa Xu and Zoey Liu made check-in easy for our group of five, who had booked three rooms through two different platforms. They greeted us warmly and patiently tracked down all the reservations despite the language barrier. Melissa Xu also noticed that two members of our family were in their 80s and suggested the more comfortable, accessible side of the building. We were glad we followed her advice. Even off duty, she offered help, sharing useful tips for using the DiDi ride-hailing app and looking up specific places for me. Ms. Yuki was just as helpful: she ordered a ride on her own phone, walked me outside, and spoke to the driver to make sure I reached the right spot. We also really enjoyed the hotel restaurant, both the food and service were top-notch. We spent three wonderful nights at the Howard Johnson Changsheng Plaza Meizhou, across those three rooms. The staff’s care made the trip smooth, and Melissa and Zoey were outstanding. Management should be proud of them, and they deserve formal recognition. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Meizhou. Highly recommended!

The Hakka noodles at breakfast were especially good, and the meal was simple but satisfying. We stayed as a three-generation family while returning to our Hakka ancestral home in Meizhou, and the hotel made us feel welcome. Mr. Luo, the manager, helped us feel right at home; Ms. Melisa, Summer, and the rest of the team were kind and helpful too. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is central, across from the park and stadium, with great food nearby. It was a lovely experience we'll always remember.

Alice from Guest Relations was especially warm and polite, and helped us call a taxi to the airport. We had worried about language communication before arriving, but reception welcomed us and went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. Our room at the Howard Johnson Changsheng Plaza was clean and well appointed. We were glad to have our favourite Hakka dishes at the Lotus restaurant, where the staff were accommodating and helpful. It was a very short stay. My parents came from the Meizhou/Meixian area, and we recommend this hotel.

I loved the service from Ms. Millian Guo. She was kind, very helpful, and fluent in English. I stayed here from April 9-10 and really liked the spacious room and its bathtub.

Our stay was great, with a spotless room and staff who were all nice and helpful. Restaurants and supermarkets are conveniently close, and public transportation is easy to reach. I'd recommend this hotel for a stay in Meizhou.
