Jin Debao Kaiyue International Hot Spring Resort Hotel

The best thing we ate here was the herbal boiled egg. Breakfast was Chinese style and just okay. We also enjoyed the hot springs, the variety of pools, the kids' swimming pool, and the free herbal tea in the public hot spring area. Ice is available to buy at the pool bar. We stayed in the villa with a private hot spring in the backyard, but the room was dusty, especially the bed, and my son coughed and sneezed a lot. The shower room was dirty and had a lot of mold, and there was no refrigerator. The housekeeper tried to enter to clean while we were showering. I spoke Chinese and asked her to come back in an hour, but she kept insisting on coming in. I had to grab a towel, come out, and speak to her again. She also tried to go into the backyard while my husband was naked in the hot spring. I raised my voice because I was angry, and only then did she leave. Afterward, we noticed some money was missing. We were sure how much we had because it was HKD, not Chinese yuan, but we had no proof and couldn't complain. The hotel felt unsafe, so be careful the whole time. It's okay to stay here, but to me it's only a 3-star hotel, not 4.
