To make the most of Jiangsu Hotel's heritage and build its old-brand reputation, construction began in April 2011 on the former Heyuan Hotel site at 305 Taiping South Road. The 79.1-meter building covers 53,515.85 square meters and combines a culture-themed hotel, office rentals, street-level shops, and underground parking. Jiangsu Hotel dates back to 1928 and has more than 80 years of history. It is at 305 Taiping South Road in Nanjing. The hotel belongs to Jiangsu Zhongshan Hotel Group and is a wholly state-owned enterprise under the Jiangsu State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

Service here is excellent, even though the room facilities are fairly basic. The hotel has been around for a long time in Nanjing, with Republican-era decor, and well-known figures from that period have stayed here.
