Elegant and high-tech.

We left after just a few hours, even though we'd checked in for two days. The washing machine was old and didn't work properly, and the air conditioning was completely out of order. Reception said it was centrally controlled and sent a technician, who also confirmed it was faulty. After we complained, they refunded only one day's stay.

There were plenty of affordable restaurants and snack shops nearby for a bite in the evening, and Shanghai Road Metro Station was only a very convenient 10-minute walk away. I stayed at Nanjing Jin Fan Wan Yuan Hotel from April 19th to 23rd. Ms. Liang at the 6th-floor front desk was friendly and helpful, and even upgraded us to a deluxe suite for free. Really good value. Highly recommended, and I'll stay here again on my next trip to Nanjing. 💯💯💯

Breakfast is served as a buffet. The stay was neither especially good nor bad, and I had no major inconvenience. I had to use a credit card because of company policy, even though Alipay is the main payment method. The front desk staff got it processed on a terminal they probably hadn't used in a while.
