2/10
The rooms feel outdated, and the metal-framed windows let in drafts and leak when it rains. It also seemed that staff spoke Chinese only, with no English, German, or Russian, and the information was the same. There’s no restaurant of its own apart from Chinese breakfast. At least occasionally, you can tell what something is, like a hard-boiled egg.

The rooms were clean and the hotel was great. There’s a metro station very close by, making it easy to reach the Nanjing Massacre Memorial. Beside the memorial area, there’s also a handicraft museum where they weave silk, among other things.

A decent place to stay, though the price has gone up.
