The location and service are good, but the room was a problem. It was 32 degrees Celsius outside during the day and the air conditioning wasn’t working. They brought us a fan, which barely helped. When we asked to switch rooms, they said it was a central problem. We also couldn’t air out the room because the window faced the courtyard. At 1:00 a.m. there was metal grinding work going on there, a very inconvenient time for that noise.

Our room had an amazing view, and we enjoyed it during our four-night stay. The central location, close to the metro and with a direct airport connection, made our business trip very convenient. Highly recommended.

The room was dark and too small, and the drain was blocked. Tourists can only use the Wi-Fi with a China Mobile number, which isn’t user friendly. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it.

Breakfast was impressive, both for the food quality and how it was presented. We were lucky to get upgraded to a premium room, which was a bit small but had a good bathroom with a Japanese toilet, a comfortable bed, and reliable Wi-Fi. Several staff members spoke English and were very helpful. The main drawback was the air conditioning: we couldn’t control it and it seemed to blow hot air, so we had to sleep with the window open, which brought some noise. The hotel is centrally located in Nanjing, near a busy shopping area and Xinjiekou subway station, with access to Lines 1 & 2.

The buffet breakfast and fitness facilities were both excellent. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable, though the glass bathroom walls felt strange since you could see into the bathroom from the bedroom whenever the curtain was open. A very high-quality hotel in central Nanjing, near Xinjiekou Metro Station. I stayed five nights in total in April and May 2016.
