As an IHG member, I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially if you're Diamond or Platinum. They don't seem to value those memberships, and the price for regular guests often changes. The hotel appears to favor people booking through low-cost Chinese OTA sites, where positive reviews get displayed.

Western travelers, beware. I had an online prepaid reservation with a confirmation number, but the hotel wouldn't honor it and tried to charge me more. The online prices felt like bait and switch. Do not stay here.

Our stay was satisfactory, and getting around was easy: the hotel is beside Fuqiao Station, about two subway stops from Xuanwu Park and near the Presidential Palace and Deji Plaza. We reached the hotel from Nanjing Lukou Airport in about 40 minutes by taxi, outside peak traffic. Staff came right over to help with our luggage, and we could check in before 3 PM. The room was bright and spacious, and the front desk said they'd upgraded us 🤣. Being in a corner meant it got better natural light. The mattress was on the firm side but supportive, and we slept well 😴. The bathtub at the foot of the bed felt a little awkward for a soak 😝. There was a coffee machine but no capsules; my husband guessed our level might not be high enough 😝. Breakfast had lots of options, especially pastries, and the dining room was comfortable with plenty of space between tables.

This four-star hotel is close to 1912, and the exit for Fuqiao Station on Metro Line 3 is right outside. Getting around is convenient.
