It took about 30 minutes by Didi to get to the city area, which felt manageable even though the hotel isn't downtown. The room was clean, roomy, and comfortable, with space for luggage and moving around. Xiao Du in the room was useful for controls and basic information. Its location also works well for getting to the high-speed railway station, especially for a transit or business stay.

This was my third stay here in the past year, and I'm looking forward to coming back. The rooms are clean, and breakfast is tasty with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. The location is connected and convenient, with food and Hima Mall shopping within walking distance and the train station about 10 Mins away on foot. Edward Chen and Ida Wang looked after us, and check-in was efficient. Lemon wang l, James Li, Jing Luo, kitty gao were always ready to help. Thanks for their thoughtful gestures, and I wish them good luck.

The Holiday Inn is within walking distance of Nanjing South train station. With such good food and excellent staff and service, it covered everything I wanted for a vacation stay.

The hotel itself is nice, but getting service in English was difficult. The clerk at the cafe/bar didn't speak English, and even when I tried in Chinese, she didn't understand that I wanted ice water or why I asked for more ice. The hotel is also a 15-20 min walk from the train station, so it's not exactly at the South Railway Station.
