The staff deserve a mention for their professionalism and kindness. When we were on the Helipad floor for photos, Ma Yong was very helpful, and Huangyi kindly guided us up there. Angela also went out of her way to help find my husband's misplaced earbuds. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon. The room was big and comfortable, and Xuanwu lake is within walking distance, with a nice area for a stroll. Breakfast was good, with a great variety of local food. Jiangnan Wok (Michelin) is a must.

I really enjoyed the sunrise from the top of the hotel. There’s a nice park nearby, and the pool offers a fantastic city view. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the bathroom was large with a smart layout. It was a great experience.

There are lots of restaurants, fancy shops, and nice places to enjoy near the hotel. The continental breakfast was delicious, with so many options that tasting them all would be impossible. It’s the most gorgeous hotel in the neighborhood, and I totally recommend visiting.

I stayed here in Q2, 2025. The hotel is in the city center, with a beautiful bund/park nearby, shopping malls, and even street food across the way. Breakfast has an extremely wide range of choices for people from different countries. The service is good, and there’s a helipad that they allow guests to use only at 6am. Amazing city, and I highly recommend staying here.

The lobby’s live music was extremely loud and sounded distorted, with none of the class I associate with the Shangri-La brand. I’ve stayed at many Shangri-La hotels and usually enjoy their elegance and calm, but this location’s interior design felt mismatched and fell short of the sophistication I expect.
