Sheraton Kingsley Nanjing

The staff were the best, especially the front desk and concierge duty staff, who were ready to help. They booked a last-minute train ticket using personal accounts and even ran to a nearby travel agency to issue it. Writing this review is the least I can do to thank them. Please keep up the same work. Many thanks again.

The hotel is older, but my stay was definitely pleasant. The staff were professional.

The location is great, but everything else was not. The walls are thin, the showers are moldy, and there were house flies in the room. So much for Marriott quality control. I’m giving two stars mainly because housekeeping lost my pajamas and I was so upset by how they handled it. I had them come into the room and search through my belongings, tearing the entire room apart. When the staff member couldn’t find the clothes either, she accused me of lying and making a scene. I was shocked that this was their next step in solving the problem. I have platinum status and more than 400 nights across Marriott hotels, and no one has ever flat-out called me a liar. Management was super annoying to deal with, too. In the end they paid me half the value of my clothes. They said it was to “make me feel better,” not because it was their fault. What? I still don’t have my pajamas, and I don’t have enough money to replace them. I’m reconsidering whether I want to stay at Marriotts in the future.

The 42-story tower feels huge, and the rooms were very clean. Staff were friendly, as you'd expect at a Sheraton. Its location in Nanjing is spectacular, with everything nearby. There are several international restaurants in the building, plus a fitness area on the 6th floor with a pool, gym, and play area.
