The restaurant downstairs does local breakfast and dinner, and there’s free tea tasting in the lobby plus dessert at night. The staff were excellent and thoughtful, especially with planning trips and rides around Wuyishan. The boutique hotel is close to the Wuyishan entrance, with clean, reasonably priced rooms, tea-making facilities, and great mountain views. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended.

It’s a nice hotel, though the mountain view is mostly blocked by trees, so it doesn’t really feel like one. At night, lots of mosquitoes gather in the bright lobby because the doors are left open.

I’ve been to China many times, but Yunqishi Hotel still left a strong impression. The friendly staff made it feel like home. It’s in old Sangu Street, close to the Wuyishan Scenic Area, with places to eat nearby, so setting off for a hike after checking in is easy. They can sell tickets for the scenic area, and the rooms have Wuyishan black tea (Zhengshan Xiaozhong) bags and teaware. Having tea with friends while looking at Dawang Peak was a real pleasure.
