Colorful Jiuzhaigou Holiday Inn

The room was great, with a nice view, quality furnishings, and everything working properly. The heater was very good too. Downstairs, the large lobby area has a coffee shop, a bar, and a game center. Breakfast had a varied buffet suited to travelers. It’s a huge hotel with everything we needed for the trip.

Stayed here with a group. The room was large and clean, and I liked the lobby. Shops just outside the hotel were convenient.

My parents came back from their trip saying they’d had an amazing holiday, and that put my mind at ease. They’re in their 50s and traveled on their own, so I was worried at first. The reservation and front desk teams were kind, helpful, and professional, arranging a station pickup and helping book tickets to local attractions. Their responsible, warm service made me feel comfortable about my parents traveling independently. The grounds are spacious and elegant, with lovely local cultural details. The rooms were very clean, luxurious, and beautiful. We also appreciated the free cultural and entertainment activities on the first floor, and the dining area had a wide range of tasty food and drinks. Thank you to everyone at Howard Johnson Tian Yuan Jiuzhaigou, including the booking team, front desk, drivers, and housekeeping. My family is grateful, and we’ll choose Howard Johnson Tian Yuan Jiuzhaigou again on our next trip.

The place is really run down. The towels are so old they could pass for rugs. Staff let guests smoke right in front of a “no smoking” sign. Breakfast and dinner were disastrous, and for the price and rating, it just wasn’t worth it. The hot spring pool was only 8-20°C. Not sure that’s meant for people.
