Hotel Indigo Jiuzhai by IHG

Every food and beverage staff member greeted us with a warm smile, and the lady serving hot noodles was especially hospitable. At check-in, Ms. Wendy and Ms.Yuting gave us helpful information, and Mr. Ace, the concierge intern, was full of enthusiasm. My butler, Ms. Cici, always replied quickly whenever I had a question. Many thanks to all of them for making this a pleasant stay at Green Indigo Jiuzhai Hotel. The room design was fantastic 👍

The hotel has a strong Tibetan feel and is wonderfully peaceful. It’s a little farther from the Jiuzhaigou entrance, but thoughtful service made up for that. Our butler looked after us from the moment we arrived, and all the staff were professional and kind. We loved the evening bonfire party, and there was a free light show nearby too. The next day, the hotel’s driver was friendly and helpful on our trip to Huanglong. Such a great experience!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was great. It’s in a quiet, quaint neighborhood near the Jiuzhaigou Natural Reserve, though you’ll need your own transport. The breakfast buffet was decent. One small hassle with the room layout: the bathroom spaces cross the main walkway, with the shower, sink, and toilet all separate. That made it a bit awkward to get clothes and other things.

We booked two rooms for our family of five. The rooms were a good size and design, with comfortable beds and very good cleaning. At breakfast and dinner peak times, the restaurant got a rush of guests, but the polite, attentive team handled it well. Their Chinese male manager paid close attention to details and guided his inexperienced young staff through the busy periods. Kudos to him!
