Excellent in every way.

At 3,000 meters, the room got cold at night, and the heating on the air conditioner wouldn't work no matter what I tried. There was just one thin blanket and no bedspread, so I couldn't sleep and ended up wrapped in a sweater. The bathroom hot water only started working at 6:30 PM, which was disappointing for a hotel that wasn't remote or cheap. Free Wi-Fi was only in the lobby. The building looked grand and was very large, but it felt old and functional. Its two wings stretch out from the elevator hall, and our room was at the far end. We dragged our suitcases along the hallway carpet, which they sank into, and there were no porters to help. The room carpet was dusty and had trash on it too. (Stayed in July 2015)

The recent renovation makes the place feel quite high-end, and the service was very good. Some bathroom supplies were still old and hadn't been replaced, though.

I hired a car, and after coming back to a clean room and comfortable bed, I slept well.

There was no internet, and the room had no toothpaste or toothbrush. I also couldn't reach the front desk by phone.
