There are plenty of shops you can walk to, and the rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean. The Chinese food at the restaurant on the 27th floor is worth trying.

Things feel pretty bleak now. The restaurants inside have all closed, and even though it’s at Ningbo Fortune Center, it no longer feels grand or prosperous. There are still high-rise buildings everywhere.

The hotel is about a 30-minute taxi ride from Ningbo Station and costs around 60 yuan. It’s in a business district, so it was quiet on Sunday, and there was a LAWSON close by. The room and bed were spacious and comfortable. The minibar had two juices and one Tsingtao beer. Drinking mineral water cost 8 yuan per bottle, while two complimentary bottles were provided in the washroom, which I used. It is some distance from the station, but I’d stay here again.
