The room's layout and the view were things I really liked. The staff were great, spoke English, and housekeeping even left me a cute note. The wood in the room felt a little used, but I still liked the room. The bed was just okay, though better than the beds in Shenzhen, and I personally prefer soft beds. The location wasn't good for me since I like being downtown. I think it's near a convention hall, so that would be convenient if that's where you're going, but downtown is far. Breakfast ended at 10 am, which felt ridiculous, and the food was horrible, among the worst breakfasts I've had in China this trip. After the 10/10 breakfast at the Shenzhen location, Ningbo was a real letdown. The desk chair was too low and couldn't be adjusted. I liked the hotel and would recommend it for the value, but probably wouldn't return because I prefer staying downtown. I came from the Langham Shenzhen, and this place wasn't as nice.

2025 This time I wanted to share photos of the food I had at Ming Court, its enclosed Chinese restaurant. The food is high quality and good on every visit. 2024 I've stayed at the Langham Cultural Plaza in Ningbo for the second or third time, and everything was as good as it should be. I always love staying in Langham for the great service and rooms. Breakfast was fine too. I spotted Durian crisp at the pastry bar. I thought it was a bit terrible, but I'm not a durian lover. I wanted to try the lobby lounge and its cocktail, but work ended so late every night that I never got the chance. I'll come back for sure. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The Langham has been my usual choice in Ningbo for the past three years, after trying a lot of places here over the years. The rooms are great, the restaurant has a good eastern and western mix, and the wifi has always been great. I stay here and bring my customers when they visit. It's in the new downtown, with lots to do and see within walking distance.

The rooms are spacious, the facilities are beautiful, and breakfast is nice at this fantastic new hotel. The big downside is the lack of English-speaking staff and the lack of training I would expect at a hotel of this level.
