The garden is a lovely place to walk in the morning, and you’ll need your access card to continue into the public park it connects to. I’m here for my second stay at Sheraton Ninghai, and the location, full facilities, and tasty breakfast have all been great. In November it was around 15°C. Looking forward to coming back!

The rooms were lovely, and the hotel itself feels luxurious, but a few things bothered me. The breakfast area was so cold I had to wear a jacket, and music from outside woke me at 5 a.m. I also saw people smoking in the elevators, which really isn’t acceptable. Maybe I’d give it another try in summer.

The lake views from the spacious room were breathtaking, and the hotel is beautiful, new, and clean. I also really liked the food, service, and fitness center. The lobby gets packed and loud in the evenings, though, and there aren’t any restaurants within walking distance. Still, this is probably one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in.

The Wi-Fi was unpredictable, as it can be in China. I liked the balcony and clean room, and the service was great. The bathtub has a sliding door opening to the room, which makes for a nice romantic stay.

The room was huge, clean, and tidy, with three or four different lighting moods. The lake views were stunning too. Best hotel I stayed at on my last trip to China. Definitely recommend it!
