The hotel is around 2000 RMB, and it works well as a base for a pilgrimage to Meizhou Island. From the lobby, left takes you through the woods to a beach where you can play in the water, while the uphill route straight ahead leads to Mazu Temple. You can rent a bike outside to explore the island. Turn right from the lobby and ride uphill to reach the island's busiest street, with food stalls along both sides in the evening. There's a local market near the roundabout, and a Mei Yi Jia convenience store nearby too. The rooms are roomy, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast is pretty good, and there are fitness facilities, card games, billiards, and KTV.
