Putian Depo Hotel

I stayed here for the last three nights and wanted to share my experience. The lobby is attractive, the rooms are nice, and the location is good, but I had problems with the management. On Dec 7, they switched off the air conditioning because they said it was winter. It was 30°C outside. After I complained, they did take steps to cool things down. The lobby lounge offers room guests free coffee, biscuits, and sweets, but when I asked for milk with my coffee, the staff member said they don't serve it there and directed me to the cafe or restaurant across reception. She saw us there during our stay but didn't try to improve the service. They also asked for our room card each time we sat down to use the lounge, even though the snacks weren't very good. This felt like local management without proper SOPs. For international service, I guess you need to stay at an international brand hotel.

Getting out of the elevator, I noticed a strong smoke smell in both the hallway and the room. It made the stay uncomfortable.

I was in Meizhou with people from my hometown for a temple visit and spent two nights at this luxurious hotel. The room was clean, and I enjoyed a soak in the bath and the night view. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty of variety.

I wanted to leave as soon as I got to the room. It smelled of smoke, the carpet was dirty, and the cleaning wasn't done properly. There were more than 40 of us, and every room had a bad smell. No way.
